Not Another Novel November Challenge 🙄
It’s not! This is DIFFERENT. This is where you not only write consistently with other creative goblins like yourself, but you walk away from the challenge with a shiny new (or freshly refurbished) writing practice AND the tools to assess and adjust as the seasons of your life change and morph!
- Show Up: $5 – Access to the mini-course, simple tracking worksheet (printable), and supportive community. Three prompts per week to check in, reflect, and have fun with like-minded writers!
- Wild Out: $42 – Same as the Show Up access, with the addition of a metric based tracker (Google Sheet), and 3 asynchronous coaching sessions to:
- Help you set your goals
- Check in mid-challenge to assess where you’re and and adjust as needed
- Celebrate how far you’ve come PLUS create a plan to keep going after the challenge ends!
The usual Novel November challenges try to mimic the National one that shall remain unnamed, setting you up to fail due to high word count goals (50K words anyone?).
This challenge you can pick any goal you want.
For example:
- Days per week (show up and write one sentence? Mark it off. It counts)
- Time per day (5 minutes, 30, 60! It all counts!)
- Words per day (keep it reasonable)
- Pages per day
- Units per day (a unit = chapter or scene)
- Revisions – I recommend using pages or units.
This challenge is designed to work with your brain and your life to create a shiny new (or freshly refurbished) writing practice with JOY!
